Bandy is a Senior Principal Pharmacist at SingHealth Polyclinics (SHP). She has been an active contributor to national pharmacy workforce development, representing SHP in the Ministry of Health's Pharmacy Technicians Training and Development Committee (2016–2024) and subsequently in the Pharmacy Technicians Training Pathway Committee (2025–present). In these roles, she has worked collaboratively to shape key national deliverables, including the OJT blueprint for the Advanced Diploma in Pharmaceutical Sciences and the national entry-to-practice assessment framework for Pharmacy Technicians.

Bandy currently serves as Vice-Chair (Pharmacy Support Staff) at SingHealth College of Clinical Pharmacy, where she develops training programmes to support professional development and expanded job roles for pharmacy support staff.

She was instrumental in developing SHP's pre-registration pharmacist training programme, which received accreditation from the Singapore Pharmacy Council in 2014. To date, the programme has trained 46 batches of pre-registration pharmacists and pharmacy undergraduates. She also contributed to several other training initiatives, including polytechnic internship training and the Pharmacy Technician OJT Foundational Training Programme.

A passionate advocate for lifelong learning, Bandy believes that learning is a continuous journey that mirrors life itself.
