Caroline Chua is a Senior Principal Physiotherapist with two decades of clinical experience in women’s and pelvic health physiotherapy. Her passion for developing people and strengthening educational ecosystems has shaped her career since 2009, culminating in her appointment as Education Lead for the Physiotherapy Department at KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital in 2017.
A committed lifelong learner, Caroline completed her Master of Physiotherapy in Women’s Health at the University of Melbourne and later pursued a Master of Science in Health Professions Education with Maastricht University. Her academic journey reflects her dedication to elevating training, development, and educational leadership within the health professions.
Caroline contributes actively to the broader education landscape as Associate Faculty with the Singapore Institute of Technology. As Vice Chair (Educator Development) in the College of Allied Health, she supports initiatives that build educator capability across the sector.
Her research interest focuses on sociocultural influences on workplace learning, particularly how coaching shapes learning behaviours, and team-based practice within clinical environments. She also serves as an Abstract Review Committee Member for educational abstracts for the SingHealth Duke‑NUS Scientific Congress 2025, reflecting her growing role in shaping scholarly discourse in health professions education.
