Dr Cynthia Assimta Peter is a Senior Consultant Radiologist in the Department of Radiology, Sengkang General Hospital with interest in Musculoskeletal imaging. She received her undergraduate degree from Christian Medical College, Vellore, India, master’s in medicine (M.Med) from National University of Singapore and Fellowship from the Royal College of Radiology (FRCR), London. She pursued an observer-fellowship in Musculoskeletal Radiology at Massachusetts General Brigham Hospital, USA, and Chinese University of Hong Kong, China in 2023 and remains involved in creating new clinical services in Radiology. 

Besides clinical practice, she is an EnRICH clinical mentor with the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, a Senior lecturer with LKC medicine, Clinical Assistant Professor with DUKE-NUS and Core Faculty with the SingHealth Leadership Programme (SLRP). 

After completing a Graduate Diploma in Applied Positive Psychology, she introduced Resilience training in Education by co-pioneering the “Safe Space” initiative (since 2020) in Sengkang General Hospital and co-leading SingHealth Resilience training workshops (since 2022) for Radiology Residents. She is currently pursuing a Post-Graduate Diploma in Psychotherapy and Counselling and remains invested in Resilience for the Healthcare professional.

She is passionate about brachial plexus ultrasounds, empowering conversations and deadlifts!
