Professor Farzana Mahdi, Ph.D. (FAIMER, GSMC-2013, FAMS), is a distinguished academic and medical leader serving as Pro-Vice Chancellor of Era University, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India. She concurrently holds the positions of Director of Academics at Era's Lucknow Medical College and Hospital, as well as Director of the Department of Personalized and Molecular Medicine at ELMCH, Lucknow.

Among her most notable contributions, she was instrumental in establishing Era's Lucknow Medical College and Hospital in 2001 and Era University in 2016, and has pioneered a Certificate and Post Graduate Diploma Course in Health Profession Education in collaboration with Sadiq International Virtual University (SIVU).

Beyond her institutional leadership, Prof Farzana serves as General Secretary of both the Indian Society of Personalized Medicine and Allied Health and Healthcare Professions Education and Research (AHAHPER). A prolific scholar, she has authored several books including "Precision Medicine and Human Health" and "Clinical and Procedural Skills – A Step by Step Approach," and has more than 200 publications to her credit in journals of national and international repute.
