Dr Fatikhu Yatuni Asmara serves as a lecturer in the Nursing Department at the Medical Faculty of Universitas Diponegoro. Her specialisation lies in nursing education, with a particular focus on assessment methodologies. She actively participates in an interprofessional education (IPE) programme at her institution and spearheads several innovations in delivering the IPE programmes within community settings. These innovations include the development of an assessment system and the implementation of reflective practice through self-reflection using a logbook as an instrument. The current emphasis of the IPE programme is to evaluate its impact on health outcomes, such as antenatal care, child malnutrition, and non-communicable diseases among adults and the elderly.

In collaboration with other IPE experts in Indonesia, Dr Asmara contributes to the advancement of the IPE programme and its application across various contexts, including curriculum development, innovative learning strategies, assessment, and faculty development. Her passion lies in conducting research in health professions education, particularly in IPE, which includes participating in conferences and publishing her research articles in reputable international journals. Her objective is to contribute to the enhancement of health professions education, aiming for improved quality in its implementation.
