Huang Fang, MPH, RN, CHSE, is a senior lecturer and specialist in teaching and learning at Nanyang Polytechnic’s School of Health & Social Sciences in Singapore, with nearly two decades of experience advancing simulation-based education, AI integration in healthcare training, and nursing curriculum development. Passionate about leveraging AI to make simulation education more efficient, she has created innovative AI-powered virtual patients for communication skills training that are scalable for pre-registration to post-registration nursing students, built interactive educational electronic health records using AI, and explored AI-automated simulation scenario development. Her leadership earned Gold recognition for the “EHR Prototype for Training Novice Nursing Students” project and first prize in the Teaching & Learning AI Prompt Contest 2025. As Principal Investigator for multiple research studies, her work was published in Nurse Education Today and presented internationally. She was invited to participate in Singapore’s Nursing Board Simulation Guidelines national workgroup, serves as an active reviewer for Clinical Simulation in Nursing journal, and has conducted simulation training for faculty across Hong Kong, Vietnam, and Taiwan, continuing to shape the future of technology-enhanced nursing education.
