Dr James Mui is a specialist in Advanced Internal Medicine at Singapore General Hospital. He graduated with honours from Monash University in 2018 and subsequently obtained the MRCP (UK) and Masters of Medicine (Internal Medicine) in 2023, before completing specialty training in Advanced Internal Medicine in 2025. His interest in medical education traces back to his undergraduate years, and he has been actively developing this passion alongside clinical practice. Since completing specialty training, he has pursued a growing portfolio in medical education, with a particular focus on supporting learners who face challenges in their training journey.

Dr James Mui currently serves as a tutor with the Duke-NUS Remediation Programme, where he works closely with struggling learners to identify barriers to performance and support their development. Through this role, he has gained firsthand insight into the complexities of remediation and the critical role that faculty play in fostering learner recovery and growth.
