Dr Jamie Zhou is a palliative care senior consultant working at National Cancer Centre, Singapore, and Assisi Hospice. After completing a course on Writing Poetry at Oxford University, she went on to study Narrative Medicine at Columbia University’s online post-graduate programme, and is also a trained facilitator for the Institute for Poetic Medicine’s programme called Poetry as a Tool for Wellness. She has led a Poetic Medicine programme for doctors at Assisi Hospice and is a facilitator for Stories Within, a programme in joint collaboration between SDMHI and IPSQ.

She has performed at the Singapore Poetry Festival 2024 and has published poems online and in Asia Pacific Hospice Palliative Care Network’s anthology called ‘To let the light in’.
