KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital

Jasmine Teo is a Senior Speech Therapist at the Cleft and Craniofacial Centre, KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital (KKH), where she specialises in working with patients with cleft lip and/or palate, and craniofacial anomalies.

Beyond her clinical work, Jasmine serves as a clinical educator for speech therapy students from the National University of Singapore (NUS) and Singapore Institue of Technology (SIT). She also plays a key role in educating and mentoring new staff members joining the team.

Through years of supporting students during their most vulnerable learning moments and helping new colleagues build confidence, Jasmine has learned that good feedback isn't just about pointing out what needs improvement—it's about creating a safe space for growth. She's discovered that the most meaningful feedback often comes from understanding each person's unique journey and meeting them where they are.
