Kam Tsz Yan is an Assistant Nurse Clinician (Advanced Practice Nurse) in Specialty Nursing at Singapore General Hospital. She specialises in neurology nursing, with a clinical interest in neurodegenerative conditions, particularly Parkinson’s disease and dementia. In her role, she works closely with multidisciplinary teams to support neurological patient management, clinical quality initiatives, service improvement, and patient education within the Neurology Department. 

Tsz Yan plays an active and significant role in education, assessment, and mentorship. She is a member of the Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) workgroup and has contributed to workshops for Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) interns, supporting competency development and clinical preparedness. 

She also serves as a clinical mentor for pre‑Master of Nursing students, guiding trainees in clinical practice, critical thinking, and professional growth. In recognition of her leadership potential and commitment to developing the APN workforce. Tsz Yan has been appointed Co‑APN Lead for upcoming Advanced Practice Nurses in 2026.
