Cheng Yong is a clinical psychologist registered with the Singapore Psychological Society (SPS). He completed his Master in Psychology (Clinical) from James Cook University. His clinical practice draws from various modalities (e.g. cognitive, behavioural, acceptance-based, schema, attachment focussed-EMDR, internal family system, and career counselling).

Cheng Yong’s prior experience with the education ministry has given him experience in the social and emotional development and career development of youths and young adults. In his work as an educator, he was trained as teacher renewal guide and worked with local educators.
