Loo Li Wen is a Principal Clinical Pharmacist at Singapore General Hospital with interests in pharmacist education, assessment, and workforce development. She also serves as Project Administrator at the Chief Pharmacist Office, Ministry of Health, Singapore, and Vice Chairman (Education) at the Centre for Global Pharmacy, SingHealth, where she contributes to design, implementation, and governance of pharmacist training programmes.

An experienced preceptor and educator since 2014, Li Wen has been actively involved in supervising pre‑registration pharmacists, residents, and early‑career pharmacists across clinical and workplace‑based settings. Her educational work focuses on outcome‑based education, quality improvement approaches, and strengthening the alignment between training, assessment, and readiness for professional practice. She has particular interest in workplace‑based assessment, entrustment decisions, and the use of professional activities to support meaningful learning and feedback.

Li Wen is an Associate Editor with the PoSH Editorial Board Committee, SingHealth Academy, and has published in peer‑reviewed journals on antimicrobial stewardship and pharmacist training. Her recent scholarly work includes action research evaluating a national pre‑registration pharmacist training and assessment framework in Singapore.

At the SingHealth Duke‑NUS Education Conference 2026, she will present on reframing assessment for pre‑registration pharmacists through professional activities, drawing on implementation experience and lessons learned from practice.
