Assoc Prof Ma. Teresa Tricia Guison-Bautista, MD, MHA, FPAFP, is an Associate Professor at the University of Santo Tomas (UST) Faculty of Medicine and Surgery with over 20 years of experience in family, occupational, and geriatric medicine. A relationship-oriented leader, she currently serves as the Chair of the PAFP Certification Board for Primary Care Physicians and is a member of the Specialty Board in Geriatrics. Her extensive career includes leading the Department of Family Medicine at Quirino Memorial Medical Center to full accreditation and serving as the Residency Training Officer at UST Hospital, where she was repeatedly honored as the Most Outstanding Resident early in her career.

A/Prof Guison-Bautista is a dedicated public health advocate, pioneering DOH-recognised initiatives such as "Meatless Monday" and the Smoking Cessation Clinic, and her research – highly cited on Google Scholar – spans critical topics like palliative care barriers, family-focused interventions for depression, and the cultural nuances of bereavement.

Beyond her academic and administrative roles, she balances her medical practice with deep community service, serving as a church choir leader and catechism teacher while championing the holistic care of vulnerable populations.
