Dr Matin is currently a consultant in the Department of Internal Medicine in Singapore General Hospital, where he is actively involved in postgraduate affairs and is currently the Associate Programme Director for PGY1 Residency for Internal Medicine.

He also sits on the SGH Junior Doctor Wellbeing Committee. In his experience as Associate Programme Director, he has had the opportunity to hone his remediation skills for underperforming PGY1s in the department through departmental performance review processes as well as the institution level in the SGH PGY1 Performance Review Subcommittee.
