Narayan Venkataraman (Nari) is an accomplished healthcare leader with more than 25 years of experience in Singapore healthcare, spanning data science, Al, health informatics, medical technology, quality & risk management, governance, and operational analytics. A mathematician and biomedical engineer from BITS Pilani, India, he focusses on leveraging novel technologies to advance clinical quality and patient safety. He is a recipient of Singapore's National Commendation Medal for COVID-19 Care Team contributions. Nari has been an invited speaker at global symposia, health tech events and conferences.

He currently leads the Data Science and Intelligence, and AI Office teams at Changi General Hospital (CGH), Singapore.

On the academic front, Nari is an Adjunct Senior Fellow at SUTD for the Modular Masters in Data Science & Al, and the Programme Co-Convenor and Faculty for AIQUIPS at the Institute of Patient Safety & Quality, Duke-NUS Singapore. Global Advisory Board member of Institute of Digital Medicine, City University of Hong Kong. On the research and innovation front, Nari is a CIRB reviewer, JAMA-Asia Pacific journal reviewer, JRIG grant panel member, and also contributes to various strategic committees at CGH and SingHealth.
