Associate Professor Ong Peck Hoon is Deputy Cluster Director for Health and Social Sciences and previous Programme Leader for the Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Physiotherapy programme at the Singapore Institute of Technology. She holds a PhD in Public Health from the National University of Singapore and has extensive experience in physiotherapy education, healthcare practice, and applied health research. 

Her work focusses on health services research, rehabilitation, healthcare education, and research methodology, with particular interests in translating evidence into practice and improving healthcare delivery and patient outcomes. She has led and collaborated on projects related to physiotherapy education, interprofessional learning, community health, and clinical practice innovation. 

As an educator and academic leader, Assoc Prof Ong is passionate about developing future-ready healthcare professionals through authentic, collaborative, and practice-oriented learning approaches. She has contributed to curriculum innovation, clinical education, and interprofessional education initiatives. Through her teaching, leadership, and scholarship, she continues to advocate for meaningful partnerships between academia, healthcare institutions, and the community to strengthen healthcare education and patient-centred care.
