Dr Puja Dulloo is a highly accomplished physiologist and medical educationist with over 21 years of experience in teaching, research, and administrative roles. Holding an MD in Physiology and a Master’s in Health Professions Education: Assessment and Accreditation from Keele University (UK), she combines expertise in both physiological sciences and educational practices. Currently serving as the Head of the Quality Assurance Unit & Head Health Profession Education at the Faculty of Medicine, Parul University, India, she leads initiatives to ensure compliance with accreditation standards and enhance institutional quality benchmarks. In her role as Professor & Head of HPE and Physiology, and member of the Medical Education Unit (MEU) at Parul Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, PU, India, she oversees academic activities, mentors students, and conducts research in her subject specialty, medical education.

Dr Dulloo has published more than 16 international; and 26 national [15 in PubMed indexed] journals. Her intellectual contributions extend to 6 copyrights as Intellectual Property Rights from the Government of India, in areas such as reflection rubrics, self-directed learning readiness, academic audit, and many more. She is also a reviewer for prestigious journals including Medical Education, BMC Medical Education, MedEdPublish, and many more.

She has served as a resource faculty for more than 60 training workshops, CME, and conferences and organised more than 20 training workshops at state, national, and international levels, demonstrating her commitment to advancing medical education practices. Dr. Dulloo has organised various state and national-level conferences and training workshops for health professionals across the country. She designed, implemented, and evaluated two undergraduate modules as value-added courses (Reflective Learning; Gen-Lead module).

Dr Dulloo’s dedication to teaching excellence has been recognised with awards such as the "Best Teaching Faculty" at Oman Medical College for three consecutive years. Notably, she excelled academically, securing the first position in the Biochemistry course during her undergraduate studies and earning a gold medal for MD in Physiology from Saurashtra University.

Her multidimensional expertise encompasses curriculum development, assessment strategies, and faculty training. Her holistic approach to medical education – grounded in both theoretical knowledge and practical experience – makes her an asset to any educational institution.
