Ms Sherly is a Senior Staff Nurse (SSN) at the National Heart Centre Singapore (NHCS) with 24 years of clinical nursing experience. She is actively involved in the NHCS Nursing Education Development Council and was awarded the College of Clinical Nursing Outstanding Clinical Preceptor in 2025. Ms Sherly plays a key role in precepting nursing students and supporting the clinical learning of early‑career nurses in the ward setting. As a clinical resource person, she guides learners in developing clinical competence, confidence, and reflective practice. She uses structured approaches such as iCARE to facilitate reflection and deliver timely, meaningful feedback that enhances learning in clinical environments.
