Dr Shalini Sri Kumaran is a senior consultant in the Department of Internal Medicine at Singapore General Hospital, Singapore.

She is a specialist in internal medicine and obstetric medicine. She earned her medical degree from Monash University, Australia, and gained valuable experience as a junior doctor there before relocating to Singapore in 2009. Dr Kumaran completed her specialist training in Advanced Internal Medicine in 2015, followed by a fellowship in obstetric medicine in Vancouver, Canada in 2018.

Committed to medical education, she has taught both medical and nursing and was recognised with the Outstanding Faculty Award in 2016 for her contributions. Currently, she serves as the lead for Lee Kong Chien School of Medicine Year 5 students within the division of medicine Singapore General Hospital. In addition to that, she holds the appointment of adjunct assistant professor at LKC, Yong Loo Lin and DUKE-NUS medical schools. She is also the core faculty member of the PGY1 programme at SGH and a faculty member of both SingHealth Junior Residency Physician Programme and the SingHealth Advanced Internal Medicine Senior Residency Programme.
