Changi General Hospital

Dr Srinath Sridharan leads the AI/ML and Automation pillar at the Data Science and Intelligence (DSI) department in Changi General Hospital (SingHealth), focussing on the safe translation of AI and GenAI into clinical workflows. His work spans the evaluation and governance of GenAI use cases such as clinical guidance chatbots and documentation support tools, with emphasis on safety, hallucination risk, and workflow integration. He also drives applied research in clinical risk prediction, operational forecasting, and decision support, with a track record of moving models from concept to deployment, and a growing body of work on evaluation frameworks for clinical AI.

He is a Programme Faculty at the Institute for Patient Safety and Quality (IPSQ), SingHealth, an Adjunct Fellow at the Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD), and a Guest Lecturer at Monash University, Australia, where he conducts hands-on sessions on responsible GenAI adoption in healthcare. Across these roles, he brings a practitioner's lens to teaching, shaped by live deployments and governance challenges within a tertiary hospital.

A recurring theme across his work is bridging the gap between impressive AI demonstrations and dependable clinical impact, anchored in rigorous evaluation, transparent governance, and clinician partnership across the AI lifecycle.
