Prof Sucheta P. Dandekar (FAIMER, MHPE) is Professor of Biochemistry and Medical Education at Eras Lucknow Medical College and Hospital, Era University, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India, and Adjunct Faculty at the Manipal Academy of Health Education. She currently serves as President of Allied Health Professionals Education (AHPA) and previously held the position of Head of the Department of Biochemistry at Seth GSMC & KEM Hospital, Mumbai, and Past President of the Association of Clinical Biochemists of India.

A FAIMER Philadelphia 2010 Fellow, Prof Dandekar holds the International Fellowship in Medical Education (IFME) and a Master's in Health Professions Education (MHPE) from Keele University, UK. She serves as Global Faculty and Project Advisor at the International FAIMER Institute, Philadelphia, and is a Member of the Quality Assurance Committee and Global Consultant at FAIMER.

Prof Dandekar is the recipient of several prestigious honours, including the Seth G. S. Medical College & KEM Hospital Oration, the Awadhesh Saran Oration, the University of Mumbai Oration in Biochemistry, the Best Teacher Award by the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, the Dr Rita Sood Memorial Oration, and the Lifetime Achievement Award (July 2024).

With over 100 publications to her credit, her research interests span Health Professions Education, Free Radicals, and Infertility.
