Dr Teo Lee Wah is Assistant Director of Nursing and Advanced Practice Nurse with the Heart Failure Service at the National Heart Centre Singapore. She holds advanced degrees in nursing and exercise science, including a Doctorate in Nursing Practice from Duke University, and is a Certified Clinical Exercise Physiologist with the American College of Sports Medicine. A pioneer in service development, she established the Cardiopulmonary Exercise Testing services at NHCS. As an educator, she earned a Postgraduate Diploma in Higher Education and received the Golden Apple Award for Outstanding Education. Dr Teo chairs the SingHealth APN Faculty Development Workgroup, driving faculty development and practice leadership. In July 2024, she was appointed Clinical Assistant Professor with the Alice Lee Centre for Nursing Studies, NUS, and from September 2025, Clinical Assistant Professor with Duke-NUS Medical School.
