Tri Nur Kristina serves as a professor specialising in medical education, with a particular focus on community-based education through the development of learning outcomes in this context. Since 2016, she has led the interprofessional education (IPE) programme at the Medical Faculty of Universitas Diponegoro, emphasising community settings. Her contributions to the advancement of medical education and IPE in Indonesia are recognised through her presentations at conferences, her role as a speaker in workshops and training sessions, and her involvement in the medical education postgraduate programme.

Among her future initiatives are the implementation of IPE in hospital settings and the establishment of a journal dedicated to IPE and ethics in health profession education.
