Dr Vidya S. Upadhyaya is a Senior Consultant Radiologist at Sengkang General Hospital, Singapore, with over three decades of clinical, academic, and educational experience across Singapore, India and the United Kingdom. A breast radiologist by specialisation, she is deeply committed not only to clinical excellence but also to nurturing the next generation of doctors through human-centered education. 

Dr Upadhyaya has played a key role in shaping radiology residency training at Sengkang General Hospital. Her work in medical education is marked by a strong emphasis on reflective practice, psychological safety, and learner well-being. 

She is the lead facilitator of several innovative wellness initiatives, including the “Safe Space” programme and resilience workshops for residents, which have been recognised and published in leading medical education journals. Her recent initiative, “Recharge the Teacher Within Us,” reflects her passion for supporting educators in reconnecting with purpose, preventing burnout, and fostering meaningful engagement in teaching.
