Dr Wang Daobo is a Senior Resident in the Singapore Integrated Programme for Cardiothoracic Surgery, completing advanced training in both cardiac and thoracic specialties. He served as Chief Resident of the national training programme from 2023 to 2025, and played a pivotal role in planning the residents' teaching curriculum.

Apart from his clinical and administrative work, he maintains a strong commitment to medical education and is actively involved in teaching junior trainees, medical officers, and medical students. Since 2025, he has also been appointed Clinical Lecturer at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore. Above all, he is active in research and has published various peer‑reviewed articles on medical education and surgical innovation in major cardiothoracic journals.
