Ghulam Nabi is the Advisor at the Aga Khan University’s Centre for Innovation in Medical Education (CIME), which operates across campuses in Karachi, Pakistan, and Nairobi, Kenya. With over a decade of experience in healthcare simulation, administration, business development, and strategic marketing, he leads CIME’s key administrative functions, including simulation operations, finance, procurement, media and communications, events, and business strategy.
Nabi has played a pivotal role in delivering high-impact initiatives such as SIMPACT—South Asia and East Africa’s first international simulation conference—and in bringing prestigious international exams like the MRCS by the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and the MRCP PACES (UK) to the Aga Khan University. His leadership was also instrumental in launching AKU’s Simulation Centre in Nairobi and in implementing integrated booking and asset management systems that have enhanced operational efficiency and regional collaboration.
Nabi is deeply committed to expanding access to immersive, simulation-based education in resource-constrained environments and to advancing patient safety and outcomes through innovation, partnerships, and strategic engagement.
