Healthcare professionals are constantly bombarded with buzzwords such as “digital transformation,” “AI,” and “immersive technology.” While these innovations hold promise, many in the sector face a common barrier: Where do I begin, and will this work for me? This workshop aims to move beyond showcasing impressive technologies and instead help participants identify their own problem areas in training, communication, and patient engagement. The session will guide them in mapping those challenges to potential digital solutions, giving each participant a concrete “first step” document to take away and explore further.

By the end of the session, participants will be able to:

• Recognize common barriers to effective training and engagement.
• Differentiate between gamification, games, and simulations, and evaluate how these tools can be applied in healthcare.
• Identify at least one challenge in their own context that could be addressed with digital/interactive media.
• Leave the session with a personalized “first step” map outlining challenges and possible solutions to pursue post-workshop
