Our Speakers

Pauline is a Senior Staff Nurse at Changi General Hospital with 12 years of clinical experience. She holds an Advanced Diploma in Gerontology, a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, and a Master's in Advanced Practice and Clinical Leadership. SSN Pauline was an active member in CGH’s Nursing Innovation Council from 2019 to 2023 —an initiative that later evolved into the Nursing Innovation Interest Group in 2024, known as SparkTank. Under her leadership, the group—consisting of members affectionately known as Sparklers—aims to foster a culture of innovation among nurses. Together, they had submitted three entries for the 2024 SingHealth Challenge, marking a steady beginning in their mission to transform patient care through innovation. Her involvement in innovation includes collaborating with teams on cognitive-stimulating technologies, brainstorming with colleagues, meeting with vendors to discuss prototypes, and participating in a time-motion study to gain a better understanding of work processes. Since April 2024, under the guidance of CGH Nursing Transformation and in collaboration with a dedicated team of nine Sparklers, as the leader of SparkTank, Pauline has played a pivotal role in driving and leading the early development of CGH’s Nursing Innovation Interest Group, SparkTank.
