Objective

Projects seeking funding for test-bedding and adoption within the healthcare system, either for feasibility testing in clinical practice, or for adoption and implementation across clusters, are encouraged to apply to the Academic Medicine Innovation Institute (AMII) Test-bedding and Adoption Grant (TAG).

Funding Details

  • Tier-1 funding support of up to $300,000 or

  • Tier-2 funding support of up to $1,000,000

for a period of 18 months.

 

Eligibility Criteria

Tier-1 Funding Support

Aimed at supporting Proof-of-Concept (POC) projects in further development and test-bedding of the innovations, bringing them closer to potential adoption and implementation within the healthcare system.

Key considerations include:

  • Projects focused on innovations with moderate level of market readiness
  • Projects seeking clinical validation and/or testing feasibility of clinical workflow of innovations
  • Projects should be led by one Public Healthcare Institution (PHI) and supported/shadowed by another PHI 

Tier-2 Funding Support

Aimed at supporting Proof-of-Value (POV) projects in validation testing of the innovations to facilitate their adoption and deployment across clusters. For Tier-2 funding support, it is compulsory to involve at least one cross-cluster Co-Principal Investigator (Co-PI) who must be from an institution of another cluster(s).

Key considerations include:

  • Projects focused on innovations with high level of market readiness
  • Projects should have a ready adoption/deployment plan
  • Project must be seeking support for implementation across clusters
  • Projects must be led by a PHI from SingHealth cluster and at least one PHI from another healthcare cluster
  • Resources and processes to implement the innovation are feasible and sustainable; there should be prior demonstration/validation of the innovation for clinical efficiency and prior safety and regulatory compliance registration/licensing approval obtained (if applicable).

 

Submission

Grant Call: 1 Oct 2025 – 30 Nov 2025
