EVX Ventures is a global venture capitalist (VC) that builds, incubates, and invests in biotech companies. With a focus on disruptive therapeutic modalities, they invest in global technologies to redefine the therapeutics of tomorrow.

The EVX-SingHealth Duke-NUS AMC Platinum Grant is one of the initiatives by EVX Ventures.

Aims to seed innovative scientific substrates for platform technologies into the local biotech ecosystem
Provides funding and advisory support for PIs
To develop and advance innovative platform technologies towards a potential spin out

Advantages of this grant call:

Fast streamlined application process : 3 months
Research outcomes and all Intellectual Property (IP) belong to public institutions
Unique opportunity for PIs to become scientific co-founders of their own biotech companies

Funding Details

Funding per award is capped at S$150,000 per project for a 1 year, with potential for top-up (on a case-by-case basis).

Eligibility Criteria

Duke-NUS or SingHealth affiliated PIs working on promising　 biotech PLATform technologies around biological INsights or Undiscovered Modalities are welcome to apply.

Interested applicants, please send the completed LOI template ‘EVX-SingHealth Duke-NUS AMC PLATINUM SingHealth_LOI scientific presentation deck template’ through your Host Institution’s Research Office to SHIP at SHIP@singhealth.com.sg by 30 April 2021 (Friday), 6pm.
