L’ORÉAL Singapore For Women In Science National Fellowships

​Objective

L'ORÉAL Singapore, supported by Singapore National Commission for UNESCO and the Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR), aims to recognise the scientific contributions of talented women, encourage young women to pursue careers in science and promote their effective participation in the scientific development of Singapore.

Two fellowships will be awarded, one in the field of Life Sciences, and one in the field of Physical & Engineering Sciences.

Funding Details

Each Fellowship is worth $10,000 for a one-year period, and will be payable into the bank account provided by the candidate.

Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must be women who are Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents pursuing research in either Life Sciences or Physical & Engineering Sciences in Singapore.

• Candidates must be 40 years of age and below (as at 1 January 2021).

• Candidates who are in/about to enter their final year of PhD studies or who are carrying out post-doctoral research and who can document the applicability of their research work, are eligible to apply for the National Fellowships.
