
Background
The Lee Foundation Grant (LFG) Award is generously supported by the Lee Foundation for deserving clinical, research and education projects that fulfil the following goals:
The funding goals of the grant include the expansion and upgrading of our transplant programmes and to increase our transplant services so that a greater number of patients can be treated in order to achieve better outcomes through research into transplantation science, up-skilling of talented manpower and continuous improvement in our processes.
Types of grants available:
- Research Grant
- Pursuance and advancement of translational and clinical transplantation research to improve clinical outcomes.
- Education Grant
- Ensure education programmes offered support the needs of transplantation research and innovation and centers of clinical and academic excellence.
- Clinical Quality Improvement Grant
- Encourage independent projects that lead to measurable improvement in transplant care services
Funding Details
- Research Grant
- Capped at S$80,000 per successful application over a period of 2 years.
- Education Grant
- Capped at S$15,000 per successful application over a period of 2 years.
- Clinical Quality Improvement Grant
- Capped at S$15,000 per successful application over a period of 2 years
Eligibility Criteria
All SingHealth researchers are welcome to apply.
Note: PI must have an official employment (permanent/contract) in a SingHealth institution throughout the effective grant period.
Submission
- Each eligible applicant can only submit one application for this grant call as the PI.
- Application must be endorsed by the applicant's HOD prior to the submission to SD Transplant Centre and must be submitted to this email: sd.transplant.centre@singhealth.com.sg.
- The completed application form and all accompanying documents must be submitted via the following routes:
- For research projects, PIs please submit through host institution's Research Office for their onward submission to SD Transplant Centre.
- For education projects, PIs please submit through host institution's Learning Partner for their onward submission to SD Transplant Centre.
- For clinical quality projects, PIs please submit directly to SD Transplant Centre.
