Objective
Singapore Biodesign (formerly Singapore-Stanford Biodesign) is a national-level talent development platform focused around bringing economic benefits and healthcare value through health tech innovation training. Singapore Biodesign (SB) aims to empower the next generation of health tech innovators for Asia using the needs-centric Biodesign approach that they have adapted for the region.
About The Biodesign Faculty Fellowship
The Biodesign Faculty Fellowship (BFF) is a part-time, 6-month programme that provides mentorship and training for tenured faculty, senior clinicians, and programme leads in the area of health and medical technology innovation. Through the Biodesign methodology, participants will identify unmet clinical needs, develop practical solutions, and prepare to introduce those solutions in real-world settings. The Fellowship includes opportunities for week-long study visits to other parts of Asia and the US Silicon Valley.
These experiences allow the BFF to gain a deeper understanding of technology translation challenges and opportunities and develop a network of healthcare technology relationships within and outside Singapore.
Interested applicants can speak with the SB team to better understand the culture and training process via email at SBenquiry@hq.a-star.edu.sg.
