Objective
Following up with the recent "Call-for-Ideas" initiatives, National Research Foundation (NRF) is calling for the RIE community to submit proposals for solutions that can address any of the following four themes. For more information about the four themes, please refer to the 'Call-for-Proposals Application Guidelines' PDF file.
Transforming Hospital Operations
Monitoring and Management
Living with COVID-19
Rethinking Urban Designs
Functioning prototypes have to be developed within two months. Applicants are not required to develop the solution from scratch and could consider enhancing or pivoting current technological solutions. Submissions need not be limited to the ideas submitted in the previous stage.
Applicants must articulate or demonstrate how the proposed solutions have the potential to be implementable, adoptable and achieve socioeconomic benefits for Singapore in the "new COVID-19 normal". Promising outcomes may be selected for further developmental work, but the emphasis is on solutions that can be rapidly adopted and deployed.
As evaluations will be conducted without physical interviews, video elaborations / demonstrations (of up to five minutes) are encouraged and should be submitted as an unlisted link on Youtube or Vimeo.
