Using Research As a Tool To Solve Real-World
Healthcare Problems

Have you ever wondered how to navigate the academic research journey? Join us for an inspiring webinar featuring Clin Prof Ng Chirk Jenn, our newly appointed Agape Professor in Population Health from Family Medicine Academic Clinical Programme (FM ACP).

As a primary care doctor, Clinical Professor Ng faces a range of health issues, some challenging to address, which have become key research opportunities. He will share his research journey from conducting opportunistic research as a young doctor, pursuing his PhD to build his research skills and confidence, conducting 'academic' research to secure grants and generate papers, to translating research evidence into 'real-world' clinical settings. His current research focuses on implementing evidence-based interventions into clinical practice (Implementation Science). His other research interests include digital health, shared decision making, men's health and health research ethics.
