Led by Director, Asst Prof Rena Dharmawan, the Surgical Technology & Innovation Office (STIO) aims to promote and facilitate the development of ideas, projects and initiatives that are creative, novel and bold that can offer fresh solutions, or enhance, replace or complement current solutions to unmet clinical needs or pain points in practice. Seeking to be collaborative across institutions, domains and specialties, the STIO can connect different content experts, link stakeholders, and facilitate processes to create conducive platforms for innovation and technological solutions and creations. This may be within contexts in SingHealth, Singapore or internationally.
