Power Up for Success – Manage your Emotional Intelligence

Healthcare educators navigate VUCA (volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous) work environments. Demands from the workplace include managing projects and people. Emotional Intelligence is a key skill for success at the workplace and comprises domains of self awareness, self regulation, motivation and relationship building. As educators advance in their careers, being equipped with emotional intelligence creates more confident self-leadership and a healthier work environment. The workshop will be hands on and will use self-reflection, cases and role play for deeper learning.


Learning Objectives

  • Describe the benefits of being emotionally intelligent.
  • Develop greater self awareness.
  • Apply a practical strategy to use Emotional Intelligence in difficult situations.

Pre-requisite

Applicants are required to complete the self-assessment documents sent prior to the workshop.
