The Duke-NUS's Office of Innovation and Entrepreneurship would like to invite you to their lunchtime seminar on The Journey of Medical Device Development from Idea to Commercial Impact by Dr Joseph Knight, Associate Professor (Practice), Dept of Biomedical Engineering, Duke University.

This seminar explores the journey of medical device innovation, covering key aspects such as clinical need identification, engineering design, regulatory strategy, commercialization, and funding.

Joe shares lessons from his experience with startups, Medtronic, and academic programs, including his time as a Stanford Biodesign Fellow and mentoring innovators at Duke. Participants will gain practical insights on navigating opportunities, managing risks, and bringing ideas from concept to clinical and commercial impact.
