Morphine is a medicine used for the relief of acute and chronic pain.
Inform your doctor if any of the following occurs:
Alcohol, including alcohol-containing medicines.
Morphine is available as a syrup or sustained-release tablet formulation.Take the exact dose of syrup or tablets as instructed by your doctor.Take with food if stomach upset occurs, but be consistent when taking with or without food.Do not crush, chew or dissolve sustained-release tablets, swallow whole.
If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. If it is too near the next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your usual dosing time. Do not double the dose.

Please return this medicine only to the dispensing pharmacy. Do not dispose of this medicine with your household waste.
