Objective
The MTC MedTech Programmatic Seed Grant is a Thematic Grant Call for the MedTech sector with the objective of building capabilities in the focus areas of Sensor Development & Miniaturization, and Resilient & Sustainable MedTech Manufacturing.
The thematic grant call will provide proof-of-concept funding for developing high-potential technologies within the specified strategic themes to optimize resources for subsequent full programmatic grants. Projects in these focus areas are expected to have the potential to form a future pipeline for, and eventually feed into, the recently launched MedTech Catapult and/or support the growth of the local MedTech industry.
Eligibility
All public sector research performers from public healthcare institutions (such as SingHealth Cluster Institutions) are welcome to apply.
Funding Details
Typically up to S$350K per project (including 30% overheads) for up to 12 months.
Submission/Application procedure
Interested applicants need to completed proposal online via the iGrants.
Each application must be endorsed by Research Office of the Lead PI's institution prior to submission by 26 July 2024, 5pm. This is to ensure that there is organisational support for the PI to participate in the grant call.
