• Eye researchers have discovered and pioneered novel medical and surgical therapies to improve outcomes for patients suffering from blinding corneal and retinal diseases. (Singapore Eye Research Institute)
• Intrauterine gene therapy research shows potential for replacing faulty genes to treat congenital diseasesü Researchers have developed bone replacement materials for mandibular defects (NDCS)
• A wearable kidney dialysis system have been successfully developed by a private Singapore company for renal failure patients. (A Private Medical Device Company)
