Fellowship in Patient Safety & Quality (FPSQ)

The IPSQ FPSQ Programme is a continuing training and development programme that aims to offer you an opportunity to be part of our community of learning where healthcare and PSQ professionals can learn, share and be empowered in advancing patient safety and quality.

Hybrid Fellowship Arrangement

3 months

The fellowship will be conducted primarily through online meetings and learning sessions. During the 3-month fellowship period, the Fellow may undertake 1 visit to Singapore, with the total in-person duration not exceeding 3 working weeks, as mutually agreed with the host mentor.

6 months

The fellowship will be conducted primarily through online meetings and learning sessions. During the 6-month fellowship period, the Fellow may undertake 1 or 2 visits to Singapore, with the total in-person duration not exceeding 3 working weeks. This can be arranged as a single visit of up to 3 weeks or divided across 2 visits, as mutually agreed with the host mentor.

12 months

The fellowship will be conducted primarily through online meetings and learning sessions. During the 12-month fellowship period, the Fellow may undertake 1 or 2 visits (half-yearly) to Singapore, with the total in-person duration not exceeding 4 working weeks. This can be arranged as a single visit of up to 4 weeks or divided across 2 visits, as mutually agreed with the host mentor.

Note: For all fellowship durations, Fellows are responsible for ensuring that they meet all applicable immigration, visa and entry requirements and for complying with the prevailing regulations of Singapore’s Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) for the duration of their visit/s.

 

Fellowship Fee: Self-funding only. Fellowship fee will be waived if the Fellow is engaged in a related research project with SingHealth Institution.

Target Audience: Interested applicants who are leading quality, safety and clinical improvement efforts or have strong interest in PSQ work can apply. Applicants will participate in relevant projects, committees and workgroups as matched to their assigned projects/ areas of interest. Each FPSQ Research Fellow will be assigned to a mentor.
