Catherine is an experienced Nurse Educator and trained midwife dedicated to advancing healthcare education. She has collaborated with healthcare professionals from various disciplines to design and implement comprehensive training programs, equipping her colleagues with advanced knowledge and skills essential for providing quality and safe care. Her expertise extends to guiding and assessing medical and nursing students in managing high-risk pregnancies and labour, ensuring they are well-prepared for real-world challenges.

As the Deputy Co-Lead for Centre for Interprofessional Healthcare Education (CIPHE), Catherine strongly advocates for interprofessional collaborative practice as a means to both patient and staff safety. She has facilitated numerous interprofessional education workshops, including the IPE Ward Rounds and the Virtual Interprofessional Teaching and Learning (VITAL) Workshop in collaboration with the University of Toronto.

In addition to her primary roles, Catherine also serves as an adjunct faculty member at Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT) and co-facilitates the Simulation-based Education module offered at Duke-NUS. Her dedication to interprofessional education and simulation-based training underscores her commitment to excellence in healthcare education and patient care.
