Dr Rachel has been involved with the Family Medicine Residency Global Health Elective to San Vicente, Palawan, Philippines, since its inception in 2019—first as a resident, and then as a physician faculty member post-COVID.
The trips, run twice-yearly currently, involve the running of primary care clinics in San Vicente communities and training up of local community health workers.
