Singapore Medical Humanities Conference 2024
Stories of Healing, Voices of Change
The arts and medical humanities and their methodologies promote humanistic care, patient centred communications, and nurture professional identity formation for healthcare workers. This 2nd Singapore Medical Humanities conference will bring together faculty and students from healthcare and the arts, community arts practitioners, and patients and caregivers to share perspectives and support collaborative efforts. Participants can expect to hear from both international and local speakers presenting on medical education, performances, arts and music therapy, psychology and the social sciences. Through deep analysis and discussion of illness narratives and associated research, we hope that this conference will be an impactful and fulfilling experience for all participants.
