Asst Prof Jin Ge is a transplant hepatologist and Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology, and Division of Clinical Informatics and Digital Transformation at the Department of Medicine of University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). Asst Prof Jin Ge’s research focuses on using clinical informatics, data science, and artificial intelligence to improve care for patients with advanced liver diseases. In particular, he seeks to develop technologies to improve care and outcomes for patients hospitalised with complications of liver disease. He has published numerous articles in high-impact journals, including Gastroenterology, Journal of Hepatology, Hepatology, and the American Journal of Transplantation. He is an affiliate faculty in the UCSF Bakar Computational Health Science Institute, and an affiliate faculty in the UCSF-UC Berkeley Joint Program in Computational Precision Health. He has also assumed the position of the inaugural Director of Clinical Artificial Intelligence at UCSF Gastroenterology.
