Prof Chay Oh Moh
Emeritus Consultant
Education Office
KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital
Dr Chay Oh Moh is an Emeritus Consultant in Respiratory Medicine Service, KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital and Professor in Paediatrics at Duke-NUS and Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, with a lifelong passion in medicine. She believes in achieving the best patient care and outcome through the pillars of clinical innovation, research, and education.
After relinquishing her role as Division Chair, her journey in Clinical Administration continues as she became the Programme Director of several community projects like the KidsSTART and Anchor programmes.
As the first Academic Chair of the Academic Programme in Paediatrics (ACP), she laid the foundation for enhancing Research, Clinical Innovation and Education Initiatives in the ACP. Since 2010, she concurrently helms the Undergraduate and Postgraduate Education leadership as Clerkship Director of DukeNUS Paediatrics and ADIO for SingHealth Residency for over 10 years.
While engaging with community partners, she saw the gap in the training of healthcare professionals to enable integrated seamless care, as it was largely focussed on acute care and single professional practice. Moving forward, she will continue to mentor, nurture, and empower healthcare professionals to provide anticipatory, holistic and integrated care with emphasis on Preventive Medicine, Advocacy, and continue to develop and champion interprofessional education and collaborative practice.
