Strategic Initiatives Overview

Objectives

The Strategic Initiatives Office helps to ensure the financial sustainability of MSKSC ACP for funding of key programmes and initiatives in the three pillars of Research, Education and Clinical Services as well as the associated support required.

Structure

The 'Philanthropy' sub-pillar focuses on fundraising activities for MSKSC ACP. The Office will work with the various disciplines to identify and project infrastructural needs, as well as collaborate with institutional and external stakeholders to operationalize these requirements.

In keeping with the spike in innovation over the last seventy years, with discoveries like robotics, digital health, sensors and wearables technology pushing the frontiers of modern medicine, MSKSC ACP is also looking to drive innovation in the musculoskeletal sciences with the establishment of the 'Innovation' sub-pillar.

In addition, the Office will engage in strategic talent management and retention activities. A centralised data analytics framework will also be developed to support the informational requirements of research, education and clinical services.
