1st SGH Renal Biopsy Clinicopathological Workshop 2018

Pathology ACP and Medicine ACP collaborated to organise a two-day workshop on 11-12 August 2018, focusing on pathophysiology and clinical management of the various medical diseases of the kidney, incorporating clinicopathological correlations with emphasis on the role of the kidney biopsy. Lectures conducted by both clinicians and nephropathologists provided a practical and concise experience on common nephropathological entities as well as more esoteric diseases such as C3 glomerulopathy and IgG4 tubulointerstitial nephritis.

We were privileged to have the following overseas and local external faculty for our workshop.

• Prof Stewart Fleming – Professor of Cellular & Molecular Pathology, Director of the Centre for Forensic & Legal Medicine, University of Dundee, Ninewells Hospital and Medical School

• Prof Thomas Coffman – Dean, Duke-NUS Medical School, Director, Cardiovascular Research Centre, Duke School of Medicine
