Prof Ho Chaw Sing

Chief Executive Officer,
National Additive Manufacturing Innovation Cluster (NAMIC), Singapore

Prof Ho Chaw Sing is the CEO of NAMIC, a national accelerator platform he co-founded that focuses on translational research to catalyse and scale industrial adoption of digital additive manufacturing technologies, overseeing the development and implementation of additive manufacturing strategies including ecosystem development in Singapore. 

Previously, he was Head of Innovation and Strategic Partnerships at HP Singapore Printing and Personal Systems Group responsible for product and business incubation. Prior to that, he was the Global Business Operations Head responsible for the Consumer Inkjet Supplies Business Unit, overseeing internal and external manufacturing operations, foundry management, and product innovation. He began his career in the semiconductor foundry industry with Chartered Semiconductor Manufacturing (now part of GlobalFoundries), in various customer-facing technology and engineering operation leadership roles. 

Prof Ho Chaw Sing is active in the deep-tech startup scene and global AM community. He serves as the co-chair of ISO/TC 261 AM Chair’s Advisory Group and Singapore Standards AM Technical Committee. He also serves as a Scientific and Technology Advisor at CREATE’s Singapore-Hebrew University Alliance for Science and Technology, and Singapore Maritime Institute respectively, among others. A prolific inventor in his early career, Prof Ho Chaw Sing holds several U.S. and internationally issued patents. He also serves as an Adjunct Professor at NUS College of Design and Engineering. Prof Ho Chaw Sing completed the Advanced Management Program at INSEAD. He is an ASTM International board member.
